MediaBistro is a well know website with news and views about the publishing industry, with articles geared towards everybody from public relations folks to struggling freelance writers. And that was always the problem -- too many markets and far too generalized for those of us who are writers.
Today they reorganized their website and spun off five specialized blogs to appeal to different markets, and the one I favor, and will probably subscribe to, is called Gallerycat. I'd say check it out and perhaps give it a trial email subscription. Unfortunately, I don't see a RSS feed, which is the method of news delivery I favor over email subscriptions.
